Always garage-kept. The previous owner had the car since 1996, and rebuilt the front and rear suspension, rear end (with 3:55 gear ratio), trailing arms, and E-brake; replaced the ball joints, fiberglass rear spring and bushings, and tongue bushing; did a base-coat/clear-coat paint job, and much more over the 20 years he owned it.
We rebuilt the carburetor, and replaced the fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, 4 calipers, 4 brake hoses, brake pads, brake line, master cylinder, radiator, radiator hoses, water pump, trailing arm bushings, rag joint, wiper door canister, power steering control valve, power steering cylinder, flex plate, starter, exhaust, mufflers, and complete carpet set; changed the oil and filter, transmission filter and gasket, and much more.
This corvette seems to run really strong and shifts good.
GM released 7,121 convertibles out of 21,801 total production in 1971.
