www.carstigemotors.com    Some Cars are Classics. Some are Collectible. But Very Few are Legends. This is a 1967 Shelby American GT500. I'll give you a moment to let that sink in…. Yes, That GT500. The one that Everybody wants. Brittany Blue with White stripes, Black interior and, outside of a Museum, an Almost perfect specimen of what came out of the Shelby Factory. This Beast has had quite possibly the most detailed restoration possible to bring it back to Better than original condition. No bolt was left untouched. Everything except the fan shroud and the Gas Tank (because a rock put a small divot in the original and he didn't want to take a chance of it leaking) was reconditioned to an exacting standard and re-installed. This is one of less than 2000 ever made and a lot of those ended up wrapped around trees.  The Power of the 428 Police Interceptor With the La Mans racing heads breathing through a Highrise Aluminum intake manifold being supplied by Twin Holley 600CFM 4-Barrel Carburetors is immediate and plentiful. This is not for the timid. It's kind of like the joke "what do you feed an 800 Pound Gorilla? Anything he wants!" But, ohh the sound. THE SOUND! Every Saturday morning we crank up all the cars to let them warm up and move them around to keep things lubricated and you always know when the Shelby has awaken. It's my favorite time of the week. If I have to explain why this Iconic Automobile is special you don't get it and it's probably not for you, but for those of you who do know, you cannot miss this opportunity for a piece of Americana.
