1989 Lada

This was intended to be the Lada Sports Car and is the only example.  Designed and built by Stevens Research Ltd in the UK under a Joint Venture between Stevens Research, Lada, NAMI the Soviet Automobile Ministry, TKM as international distributors, the Lithuanian Government and Aerospace Ministry, and an unnamed large American bank.  The Joint Venture failed when Glasnost enabled the Lithuanian Government to withdraw from the project.  The car has been driven only about 100 metres and has been in storage in the Uk where it is still located.
