motodrome are pleased to offer this very early (from the first month of V8 90 production) , 1985, Land Rover 90 V8 County Station Wagon, previously resprayed in the original Slate Grey with contrasting county cloth trim.
This one is an original V8 rather than a conversion (although the engine has been replaced with a 1990 Discovery V8 3.5 unit running on carbs) – masses of torque and the ability to go anywhere without breaking things as all the gearing etc. is correct.
The county is the sought after ‘luxury’ version of the venerable Land Rover – a somewhat more civilised interior but losing none of the off-road attributes of this British classic. This one is in original seven seater spec with the 4 individual rear seats, including seat belts.
Usual ‘county’ spec -fitted with: power steering, full county trim pack inc cloth seats & tinted glass. Also fitted with galvanised front bumper, chequerplate to wingtops, modesty covers and rear quarters, matching set of 5 Michelin 750 x 16 tyres on the correct rims, , and radio/CD/MP3 player
Odometer reading 151000 miles supported by history including a selection of bills, and all the old MOT’s back to 1996, when it changed hands for the first time. .
It’s remarkably straight and dent-free, looks smart, and goes well. .
It comes with very long MOT to May 2013.
On test on arrival it performed very well indeed.
And of course being an original V8 it won’t fall foul of LEZ charges
priced to sell at just £4795
