The car boasts a box of history for the car dating back to 1963 and includes its original purchase order from Lauesen Buick, original window sticker, original GM coupon book for monthly payments and original 1963 California registration along with other Buick collectible documentation. The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has no signs of any major accidents of any kind. The car car has always been garaged and covered and looks extremely impressive with one very decent re-paint in it's original factory 'Granada Red' color paint and the black leather interior with custom factory trim is absolutely gorgeous with the seats having obviously been reupholstered at some point in original factory specification leather and virtually flawless! All the chromework is also in exceptional condition, as is all the new weather stripping and seals and the original spare wheel and jack is located in its correct place in the trunk.
The 401/325HP MT code 'Wildcat' engine is from a 1966 model and was installed in the early eighties with all documentation and both the engine and transmission have been rebuilt. The car has its original cylinder heads. The engine is extremely strong and powerful and this particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be believed - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for it's money!
