Helium Balloon Lighting System by S.Mead

This is a rare print. Originally issued by the famous Futurist Syd Mead in the '60s. This scene is of a futuristic "Helium Balloon Lighting System" which dates back to the '60s period when Mr.Mead did a lot of work for the Dutch Philips company. This one and more can be found with all the other great renderings of this incredible artist in his books "Sentinel" and "Sentinel II"!

The print is produced with the "photo-Litho" principle, it provides a surface with actual structure in it, very much unlike plain printing. The outer dimensions are 25'x 18', the picture measures 21.75'x 13.75'. The print is near mint, some minor wrinkling may be present although it is also inherent to the production method. This is an amazing original print from the '60s and with matching passe-partout and frame it will be a jewel on your wall, a rare work of art!
