West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this mostly completely stock and original 1969 Pontiac Le Mans 350 V8 2 door Hardtop Coupe which has obviously always been garaged and is in completely rust free condition with it's stated by previous long time owner as original matching # 350 V8 engine! Finished in its original 'Mayfair Maize' factory color paint with its original black vinyl top and it's original factory black vinyl bucket seats and original interior with its original radio, factory air conditioning, center console with a desirable floor shifter and power steering!
The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has no signs of any accidents - obviously a garaged and cherished driver since new. The car looks extremely impressive with very nice paint and the black interior is in great condition throughout! The dashboard itself, the carpets and all the seats are also in lovely condition with virtually no signs of wear and tear with only the headliner having been rather crudely sewn together in one area in the rear to complain about (see photos below)! All the chromework is also in exceptional condition and the original spare wheel and jack are in the trunk.
The 350cid V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful and this particular car drives magnificently - must be driven to be fully appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, the engine runs beautifully and sounds absolutely magnificent, like a true muscle car should, there are no noticeable oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool! Owned since new by obviously only mature and careful drivers and never raced or abused - babied all the way!
The mid-size Pontiac's of 1969 included the Tempest, the Le Mans and the GTO, with the Le Mans 2 door hardtop coupe model selling for only $321 less than the base MSRP of the legendary GTO! This particular example drives very well with the transmission shifting smoothly through all the gears, the engine runs beautifully and sounds absolutely magnificent, like a true muscle car should, there are no noticeable oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool! Owned since new by obviously only mature and careful drivers - never raced or abused - babied all the way!
Although obviously not a concourse example, this remains a very rare and highly desirable and collectible unabused example of one of the great classic American Pontiac muscle cars of the sixties and a sure-fire investment that's sure to appreciate over the years whilst you enjoy driving it!
