Motodrome are pleased to offer this 1975 example of the ever-popular Land Rover Lightweight (Air Portable), this one a 24V FFR example finished in NATO IRR drab with contrasting tilt.
I’ve owned and run Lightweights for years and this has to be another of the nicest driving and most unmessed with examples that I’ve come across.
Previously supplied by ourselves – we sold it 12M ago to a military vehicle enthusiast who’s enjoyed it but has now moved onto something more ambitious! Prior to his ownership it had had 1 lady owner since 2000, and there is a good sheaf of history and bills back to 1996 and old MOT’s back to 1999. It’s currently MOT’d to December 2012
It’s full of character, and it’s fitted with towpack, a rear bench seat, and twin camp nets.
On test run on arrival it performed superbly .
£2995 buys you, in my opinion, one of the most useable Lightweights currently available - be quick.
