The Dart/Valiant Slant-6 Club of America was founded in 1980 by Harry Aunes of California, who sold the club's operations and member roster to Jack Poehler of Salem, OR, in 1986. The Chrysler Products Slant-Six Club was founded as a splinter group in 1985 by Dan Gallo of New York, and subsequently merged back into the now-defunct Slant-6 Club of America.
The club is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of all Chrysler products powered by the venerable "Slant-Six" engine. We welcome owners of such vehicles, regardless of condition, and also welcome admirers of the venerable "Slant-Six" engine as members in our Club.
