This is a 1950 Packard Woody Wagon. This Woody was restored by Alan Taylor Co. & Yesterday Classics, both of California. The car was previously on loan to the San Diego Automobile Museum. In 2005 it won the Best in Class & People's Choice at the prestigious LaJolla Motor Car Classic Concourse Car Show. Our wood was previously owned by John Schneider, of the Dukes of Hazard Television Show. This woody is a very nice older restoration. The body and Paint is very nice and the wood is in wonderful condition and has no issues. The interior is mostly original and is in superb condition. The engine bay is clean and shows very well. The undercarriage is clean, the floor pans and rockers are solid and rust free. The brightwork is nice and the glass appears to be original to the car. It has some lamination separation and one chip in the right side of the windshield. It is powered by a Packard 288 C.I.D. straight 8, 3 speed transmission and has dual spot lamps. These wagons were only built from 1948 - 1950 with a combined total of 3,864. It is believed that the 1950 year model had the lowest production numbers of the 3 years of production. Our 50 Woody is in excellent condition and is in great mechanical condition. It shows very well and is a blast to drive. This outstanding woody is priced well below the true value of this Quality Automobile. Now is the time for investors to buy the right cars. This woody will only get more desirable in time, and now is the time to be buying the right collector cars.

1929 Packard Dual Cowl Phaeton 645 Dietrich

Adjectives like impeccable, spotless, and immaculate can be used to describe how clean this Phaeton 645 is, The Phaeton 645 is in a class on its own. So much so, that Packard didn’t miss a beat when they loaded this vehicle with an abundance of a-la-carte options.
With no signs of paint damage, the exterior of this Phaeton 645 is sure to impress. The Phaeton 645 is exactly what you would expect out of a Packard. It’s decadently opulent, meticulously engineered and unapologetically grandiose.
“The Packard Model 645 was the company’s top-of-the-line model and rode on a platform that measured 145-inch wheelbase. Power was from a 384 cubic-inch straight-8 cylinder engine producing 105 horsepower. Pricing started at $4935 and 2061 examples were produced.”
By Daniel Vaughan | Aug 2010
“The coachwork was done by Dietrich, and the design is consistently considered both desirable and beautiful. Offered in an astounding 21 body styles, the 8-cylinder was designated the 645 for 1929.
In one model year, an amazing 43,130 Standards were sold, plus another 11,930 Custom/Deluxe and Speedster models. High demands and waiting lists began the 1929 model year, but unfortunately due to the economic crisis, the sales tailed off to approximately 35,000 units for the year. The depression of the 1930’s hurt Packard, and by 1934 their production dropped from more 50,000 in 1928 to below 7,000 units per year. As the depth of the Depression intensified, there was a curious delayed reaction for Packard, as they still managed to sell approximately 18,000 units as late as 1931. For 1933-34, the Standard Eight became the Eight, and the Custom/Deluxe series became the Super Eight. Meanwhile, fine car sales along with the rest of the Industry continued to plunge, reaching the horrifying bottom of 7,040 units in 1934.” By Jessica Donaldson

1941 Packard 110

The wood bodied station wagon is an important part of the American automotive landscape. Almost every American auto maker had a “woodie” in their lineup at some point, as it was a functional and easy way for manufacturers to add a versatile station wagon body to an existing chassis. As styling became more integrated and cars became more streamlined, woodies evolved into more luxurious and stylish machines, many of them among the most expensive offerings of their time.
Packard was right there among the best, producing some of the prettiest and most luxurious woodies of the 1940’s. They are now among the most sought after of all wood-bodied American cars. This 1941 Packard 110 presented by Black Horse Garage is in beautiful and fully restored condition. It was once part of the well known Packard collection of Judith Henry and following Mrs. Henry’s passing, it is still in the care of the family. Since the car came to Connecticut about 17 years ago it has been treated to a careful but extensive restoration. All of the wood has been restored to a very high level, the bodywork and paint are excellent, and the detailing and re-assembly were handled by Packard experts at Vintage Motorcars formerly of Derby, CT. This is a true show-driver that is right at home on the show field but rewards regular use.Since restoration, this beautiful Packard has seen only very light use. It is in need of nothing to be driven and fully enjoyed. Interestingly, this car has recently served as the perfect transportation for Handsome Dan - Yale University’s beloved bulldog Mascot - to their home football games! Anyone familiar with Yale-Harvard tailgating at “the Bowl” has probably seen this car with Handsome Dan proudly riding along! That’s famous slobber on the glass!
It’s stories like this that sum up the Packard 110 “woodie” station wagon - it’s stylish, functional and a pure delight to drive. It is suited for runs to the hardware store, tailgating at football games or taking out a group of friends for a classy dinner. There are few places this Packard is out of place.

1935 Packard Super Eight 1203 Sedan
Incredible Original Never Restored “Time Capsule”
The Packard Motor Company relied on making luxurious cars that were highly refined, fitted with luxurious coachwork, and powered by proven engineering. This belief had placed them among the elite in the Auto industry during the early 1900s. As the world entered the Great Depression, the Packard Company was one of the few that managed to survive. In fact, they outsold all of their competitors combined. They had entered the Depression in excellent financial health and they emerged with strong financial footing. But the post-depression era had them worried, as the number of potential buyers had dwindled when fortunes were lost. Production had dropped nearly half each year when compared with the previous, from 1929 to 1933. In response to the decline, Packard continued to make improvements each year.
The twelfth series Eights embodied a new, sleeker look with raked radiator and sloping hindquarters, while beneath the skin there was a strengthened chassis frame. The front doors now hinged from the rear for easier access while the interior boasted a new, Art Deco-inspired instrument panel and seats upholstered in either broadcloth or leather. The engine too was revised, boasting a new aluminium cylinder head enabling the use of a higher compression ratio. Maximum power of the Super Eight was now 150bhp and the top speed over 90mph. Three wheelbase lengths were available, the shortest (132") frame being reserved exclusively for the Model 1203 five-passenger sedan. In total, only 1,392 Packard Super Eights found buyers in the 1935 model year. All Packards are now highly prized by collectors, and remain extremely useable classics today possessing good performance and braking for this era.
This Super Eight sedan is equipped with a smooth running straight eight engine with manual transmission. The car is in absolutely beautiful original condition, a testament to having been lovingly kept and exceptionally maintained by its previous owners over the years. The car starts and runs incredibly well, so well in fact at every stop sign you’ll find yourself revving the engine to ensure it is still running!! Finished in its original factory applied black paint which considering is 77 years old, shows incredibly well. The interior is still wearing the original beige broadcloth in equally incredible condition considering the age. This Packard also comes with the matching bumper mounted trunk with fitted storage drawers. The incredible lines and classy demeanour of this car are set off by the dual fender mounted spares with side view mirrors and Packard wire wheels with period correct wide white wall tires. Since acquiring this car we have had it inspected by a few Packard aficionado’s and the consensus has been that this is an incredible, original car and all feel they haven’t seen a better original one. The factory applied paint is complete with signs of the original lead work showing through. Opening the door and you are greeted by the sight and aroma of original broadcloth. The car to this day remains a time capsule of how 1935 Packards were designed, assembled and finished. Most certainly a car which deserves to remain in its original condition, to be used and enjoyed for many years to come just the way it is. Where would you ever find another one like it, in this unrestored original condition as presented here??

Just about 200 cars of this model were manufactured. This is without doubt one of the most interesting american car from the 50´s.
Find a 1954 Packard Caribbean is not easy, but find one in this condition is even more difficult.
During many years the car remained in hands of a spanish collector that found it in the USA. It came to Spain in the early 90´s and was used only on quiet roads of the Pirynees. The car drives excellent and the condition of the car is incredible.

1940 Packard Hearse for Sale
1940 Packard 5 Door Hearse street rod that is simply to die for! Beautiful deep Polo Green Metallic paint, Gold Pinstriping, white wall tires, custom aluminum alloy wheels from Billet Specialities, custom grill, and of course the classic Packard hood ornament. Inside has been converted from a hearse to a four person limo with leather power seats, seat belts, custom overhead console, Wabbit custom Cherry dash, AM/FM/CD player, A/C, power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, keyless entry, CB radio, power steering, power brakes, and some amazing custom Cherry wood work! That chore is handled by a modern 502 CID V8 pushing 502 horsepower with aluminum heads, HEI ignition, Holley 800 CFM carburetor, Billet Specialities engine pulley system, and electric fuel pump running through a 700R4 automatic transmission with 2 piece driveshaft engine in a Lincoln 9" rear end with 3.70 gears. Other upgrades include Classic Industries gauges, Vouge gold line tires, block hugger headers running to a stainless steel exhaust system with chrome tips, 1972 Nova subframe with power disc brakes on all 4 corners, engine painted in Polo Green, custom valve covers, and more! This car is all original sheet metal and is all steel. The firewall has been smoothed and the attention to detail is mind blowing! Only 2,700 of this model were ever built, so it is a very rare car that has had the royal street rod treatment. Located in our Chicago Showroom, which can be reached at 708-444-4488 for additional information.

1929 Packard 645 custom Rollston roadster built for the 29 New York Salon. This is the only surviving 645-745 custom roadster by Rollston. It is pictured in Hugo Pfaus book the coachbuilt Packard . It was owned by Shelley Vincent the well known Massuchusetts Packard collector from 1964. Shelley was part of the family of Colonel Vincent the famous Packard engineer. He purchased the car from Tiny Gould in 1964 for the unheard of
price of $6500. In '64 he could of bought a Duesenberg for this price. This car is a spectacular old restoration and a past national CCCA and AACA national winner. We have found an article about the car in Autobody magazine in Dec. 1928 announcing the Salon exhibits for the 29 show . In this text the car is described and was originally equipped with Ebony wood running boards with chrome strips and chrome wire wheels . We are currently bringing the car back to this configuration. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a true coachbuilt senior Packard Roadster. A great car to take to Pebble Beach.
